To create an engaging animation that could help all New Yorkers understand psychosis, and reduce the stigma surrounding it.

WHAT IS PSYCHOSIS? | psa ANIMATION

The NYC Mayor's Office and ThriveNYC wanted to reach all New Yorkers with important introductory information about Psychosis.

Collaborating with clinicians to make sure we got the facts right, we wrote an award winning script that teaches New Yorkers about the signs and symptoms of psychosis — and where to get help.

Working closely with the client, our animators sketched out storyboards of the scripted scenes and fleshed out character designs, tweaking and adjusting according to our client's suggestions and expectations.

Once we had a complete first draft animation, it was time for the final studio record with our talented narrator.

THE OUTCOME

The completed piece won multiple awards and recognition from educators and health professionals alike.
