CASE STUDY

KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE...

The NYC Mayor's Office and ThriveNYC wanted to reach all New Yorkers with important introductory information about Psychosis. Working closely with clinicians to make sure we got the facts right, we wrote an award winning script that teaches New Yorkers about the signs and symptoms of psychosis — and where to get help.

BRINGING THE CHARACTERS TO LIFE
Working closely with ThriveNYC, our animators sketched out storyboards of the scripted scenes and fleshed out character designs, tweaking and adjusting according to our client's suggestions and expectations. The first step in bringing the drawings to life is the animatic – a b/w animation of the storyboard. Once all client feedback was integrated the animation was turned into a full color 2D animation.
AN ACCLAIMED
TEAM-EFFORT

We sent early versions of the animation to our music composer, while our audio team added layers to the soundscape. And then it was time for the final studio record with our talented narrator. The completed piece has struck a chord. It has won multiple awards and recognition from educators and health professionals alike.
